The Frontline Medical Products’ SafetyNet® Guidewire Introducer Needle, available in our THINLINE® Access Convenience and PICC Kits, provides safety features that protect against needle stick injuries during endovascular access. The SafetyNET is activated by a single hand, allowing the non-dominant hand to be free to manipulate the guidewire and control patient bleeding. Once the safety feature is activated, blood in the sharp needle tip is contained within the Safety Guard as it instantly captures the needle tip before cross-contamination can occur, protecting caregivers and their patients while simultaneously providing the “familiarity of feel” Clinician’s rely on for successful vascular access.

PenBlade is a medical safety scalpel designed to reduce injuries from scalpels. It is provided in Frontline Medical Product’s THINLINE® PICC Kits. PenBlade Safety Scalpel’s retractable blade activates like a click pen and retracts with a simple press of a button. The “pen-style” activation is intuitive, using existing muscle memory. The release button is positioned near the front of the scalpel where it can be pressed without looking or repositioning the hand. The bladed groove can be used to trim a suture or catheter.
